I’ve been exploring and living in the marketing world my entire life. It’s something I live and breathe, and the phrase “Contagiously Passionate Marketing” is a phrase I live by when it comes to my professional life.
As a young naive teenager with the drive to take over the world, I started behind the camera. With more experience, I started to understand lighting, angles, and develop an aesthetic that has always stayed on trend.
Shortly after, I started in the music industry and developed a love for audio mixing, quickly realizing that sound is just as critical as video when it comes to driving a finished result.
All through high-school and college, I worked retail jobs and played sports. My people skills were honed and developed over the years, all while working in high-paced environments at 110%.
Lastly, I went through a 3-year intensive training program for one of the country’s largest marketing companies in the US. I learned everything from running physical production equipment, to how to quote projects, running accounting, sales, and learning how to code. This program set me on a firm foundation that would be the catalyst for my future growth.
So why “Contagiously Passionate Marketing”?
I believe that marketing is a starting point, but that’s all it is. Without some sort of umph, it won’t be successful, and definitely not memorable. All good marketing begins with passion. If you’re marketing something you don’t believe in, or something that doesn’t align with your values, it won’t drive the best results. And marketing that is passionate; well that’s contagious. Good marketing is like an incredible laugh or smile. It makes you want to be a part of it and join in. Not only is it contagious to the audience or consumer, but it’s also inspiring to those around you.
Living by this standard is a guide for what type of marketing you do, what type of customers or products you work with, and it ensures that your marketing drives results.
It took years for me to develop the right one-liner that could very simply identify how I would want a team to perform and collaborate. I founded VARIABLE back in 2017, and you’ll see the phrase all over the website and in the marketing materials. It’s not just a saying, it’s a mantra and framework I require the team to operate from.
